I second the Detective Conan suggestion. It's a wonderful series and is loaded full of detective references from many famous detective series and authors, not just Sherlock Holmes.

About Me:

She who really ought to stop joining things because she has hitherto been quite unable to keep up with what she already has on her plate. I was a member of the Hounds of the Internet for a year or two, amongst other online discussion groups for Holmes, but I couldn't keep up with the volume of emails and so I am on sabbatical. I'm currently doing GUI interface design for web and applications for a Medical Staffing company. My hobbies are music, books, and art. Life doesn't like for me to have much free time, seeing fit to schedule far too many regular crisises and emergencies without asking me, so I'm a bit sporadic. I have plans. Lots of plans. None of them are currently going anywhere. When I dig out, perhaps?

I am a member of the Diogenes Club of Dallas.

Make the greeting last...

Greetings fellow Sherlockians! This journal entry will have to hold down the fort for a while - possibly a long while, so I'll just be careful and not put anything here that's time sensitive or that I'll be embarrassed about later. It's really quite terrible to come back to something after a chunk of time has passed and feel only the urge to shuffle your feet and hide.
