Sherlock Holmes, of course. Some of the other books I like are Pride and Prejudice, Emma,Jane Eyre (but not Wuthering Heights), Watership Down, Heidi, Anne of Green Gables, Dove (Robin Lee Graham), The Glass Castle, Nathan's Run(John Gilstrap) Flowers for Algernon, Point of Impact, Mara Daughter of the Nile.
I'd have to say my favorite book ever, if I was forced to choose, is The Legacy by Nevil Shute (it's sometimes called A Town Like Alice). Not a Sparrow Falls (Linda Nichols) is good too. The Straw Bale House.
Hi Tara,
Gladd to see you.
I have enjoyed reading your posts at HN.
Some of my best friends down here came this way from Canada. I had a wonderful time when I visited Halafix a few years back. Great folks.

You should really read Murder on the Orient Express! It was inspired by the Lindbergh kidnapping case. I am listening to it on audio CD right now.
