One more mention here if I may? Are you an mp3 person and have you visited the Old Time radio site. It contains a number of recording with our favorite character Mr. Sherlock Holmes. You don't need a player just the ability to download and listen.

About Me:
I teach in the English Department at the University of Regina. My teaching and research interests include Victorian literature, detective (on which I teach a course), and Arthur Conan Doyle. I have published four articles on ACD and I'm working on a book on his fiction. I organized the international Arthur Conan Doyle Symposium at the University of Regina in November 2008, and I will be lecturing on The Lost World in London in June 2009.
Favorite Books:
Raymond Chandler is my favourite writer of detective fiction, and The Maltese Falcon would be on my short-list of the top ten detective stories.
Favorite Holmes:
The Hound of the Baskervilles is, I think, the best Holmes story (from an artistic point of view), and I think that "The Five Orange Pips" is one of the best short stories. I also admire "The Musgrave Ritual," on which I have written an article in The Victorian Newsletter.
