I'm amazed... I love the character Jeremy Brett created The Sherlock Holmes we love... It's only a couple of years ago i began to see the Sherlock Holmes films, and when I found out that he was dead, and that there never would be a new film with him, i almost began to cry....

He has truly made a different i my life, and he inspires my so much,..

It is difficult to see beyond Jeremy Brett's Holmes. It is amazing the amount of efforts that he had put in his characterization of Holmes despite his ill health.

Jeremy is the best when it comes to emotional value. This may be his Art In The Blood side but his character just comes through so strong. This is from the Musgrave Ritual.

I still remember that fateful day
when it was said that You went away
twelve years later I finally comprehend
why it all had to come to an end.

Your illness had trapped You, made You blue
Even though You did all You could do.
The time had come, as they say
to take the last bow and silently walk away.

Bowing Your head, accepting Your fate
You did so in the end and did not hesitate.
