Jeremy is the best when it comes to emotional value. This may be his Art In The Blood side but his character just comes through so strong. This is from the Musgrave Ritual.

This is a beautiful poem dedicated to Jeremy from a video on YouTube...hope you all like it :)

I still remember that fateful day
when it was said that You went away
twelve years later I finally comprehend
why it all had to come to an end.

Your illness had trapped You, made You blue
Even though You did all You could do.
The time had come, as they say
to take the last bow and silently walk away.

Bowing Your head, accepting Your fate
You did so in the end and did not hesitate.
Resting Your head on the pillow....sleep...

Yet Your memory lives on
Despite the fact that You're gone.
Your smile was infectious You know
Because, now years later, Your fans still grow

You gave us so much of Yourself

You often thought us, even when You were ill

Selfless You were...

Even in Your own misery

Bringing laughter to the set
That indeed was Jeremy Brett.
Giving His time to humanitarian causes

Jeremy gave us everthing he had. Even when he was so ill he kept giving. Until his over generous heart could give us no more. now it is our turn to give, to keep his memory safe and that at least alive .

In the 60's I was lucky enough to work with a famous theater and I saw the incredible work that went into the production of a play. Many plays in fact. A few years ago I came across some photos that I have now presented to a number of people while asking them if they could identify the actors. No one got it. The toll on the human body can be totally destructive particularly when the actor gives all there is to give for their art. Take a look at these pictures and study the changes in our Jeremy. We are lucky that he lived as long as he did.
