Anyone for role-play?

I was wondering if anyone might be interested in a role-play that's already in the process? It is based heavily on BBC's Sherlock, but also on my fanfiction, Waiting For Watson that has yet to be put out. I am editing it as I speak. I will give you all a brief synopsis of my fanfic as it is not out yet. It is primarily about Sherlock Holmes' side of the story of him and Watson's adventures as you never know what he thinks or really what happens to him. I have my John Watson as a female but this fanfic is in NO WAY based off of/becoming the CBS show which I refuse to call by name, as I am not fond of it. I have no problem with those of you that like it, just the show in question. My fanfic is less about the romantic aspect of things and more about how Sherlock thinks the way he does, what he really goes through, and digs deeper into his story. John is more in the background and we are left in the dark about what goes on with her until Sherlock finds it out himself. Again, romantic aspect is not heavily on as I have that happening VERY VERY LATE in this series and VERY VERY SLOWLY. Most certainly not immediately and it is not the point of the fanfiction. This role-play is also based on other things and the actual novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, no specific set of rules except nothing overly inappropriate of course. So, I need those of you who have seen all of Sherlock and know pretty much everything there is to know about it. You don't have to know EVERYTHING, that would be asking too much. Plus, we already have our head Sherlock obsessive geek... XD

I am playing as John Watson and am on the fast track to having a Sherlock. I think. :) So, if interested, please respond. If uninterested, respond anyway. Could be dangerous. J.W.

Nice job on the intro...it lets me know more about what you are looking for and the direction you want the RP to take. It would be great to get a Sherlock.  Also glad you are going for the more "appropriate" RP.  I have seen all the BBC Sherlocks and have the DVDs for any research...plus will have the case book on Dec 25...Merry Christmas to me.

I would like to RP Molly's character as well.

Yes it was part of the RP...Sorry... I was refering to my associate being Mycroft and the person who is moving in across the street from me is Sherlock.... I thought you were looking for a way to meet Sherlock.  I obviously need  more facts on your RP line of thought...I thought you were playing John as a male.... it was only after I read the RP Intro that I found out about you playing John as a female...so give me more clues and I will see if I can work it out. Sorry about the misunderstanding...Might be easier to comunicate on the details if you friend me.

And yes, Sherlock is a MALE in this, just to clear everything up. The only people whom I've changed the gender of are John Watson, Sebastian Moran, Mary Morstan, and Sarah Sawyer. John is a female, Moran's name is Sebrina Moran because she is now female, Mary is now Matt Morstan because John's female, and Sarah is Steven also because of John. There. Any other relationships John has are with MALES.

I must confess, I've never participated in a formal RP, but I'm a writer and an actor, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

Perhaps I could pick up another smaller character if a space needs filling down the road.

I might put it on Fanfiction.net or here if any of you want to read it. The first and second ones at least, I'm still working on the third. If you knew how long I've been working on it, you'd be really shocked. Note: Before you read it, it's important to know that I wrote it under TWO assumptions. 1: We already know what Sherlock's like, we've seen him before. Know how he is, what he does, and so on. So what happens here is completely unexpected and how he reacts is highly unusual. 2: Most everything that happens to John in the miniseries, is in fact what happens here. But different. Sherlock does not find out himself what really happens until later. So remember: GET BORED AND SHOOT THE WALL.
